Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante England (ranked 4497 p4p, 5336 weight class) and Sonni Sycko (ranked 519 p4p, 551 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dante England! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sonni Sycko! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sycko darts in looking for a takedown but England gets double underhooks and turns Sycko into the cage. Sycko checks a leg kick. England throws a low kick but Sycko moves out of range easily. England throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. England fails to land the takedown. Sycko misses with a takedown and England counters by clinching up. England is trying to break the clinch but Sycko is controlling him. England lands a nice shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. England has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sycko uses from the top position. Sycko trying to control but England is working from the bottom. Sycko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. England is keeping the position for now.

Sycko is aware though and is defending well. England seems keen to control Sycko's posture. England throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sycko slaps away a takedown attempt from England, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sycko moves in looking to clinch but England pushes him off. England checks a leg kick. England drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sycko sprawls and moves away. Sycko darts in looking for a takedown but England gets double underhooks and turns Sycko into the cage. England half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. England moves into the clinch. Sycko wants to stall.
England tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sycko just stands there and leans against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sycko gets underhooks to prevent England's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante England. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sycko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
England tries to land knees in the clinch but Sycko avoids the damage to the body. Sycko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. England pulls Sycko into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sycko wanted to stand there but England had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sycko stopping the sweep attempt from England. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. England throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. England working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sycko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sycko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. England keeping moving, preventing Sycko from controlling successfully. England has Sycko pulled in close to control his posture. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. England moves into the clinch. England misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sycko.
England escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sycko tries to clinch up but England circles away and keeps his distance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sycko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sycko throws a lazy head kick and England counters with a two punch combo. Sycko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. England feinted with a counter takedown. England fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sycko avoids it really well and circles away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dante England dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round! Nice sprawl there from Sycko as England shoots in. Sycko is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Sycko misses with a low kick. Sycko tries to clinch there but England circles away.
Sycko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with England but England pushes him off and we're back to square one. England has closed the distance and engaged Sycko in a clinch.
England tries to pull guard but Sycko won't allow it.
England drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sycko pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sycko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as England sprawls well. England wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sycko gets slowly back to his feet. Dante England is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sycko has his takedown stuffed and England connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sycko looks for a takedown but England sprawls well. Sycko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. England misses with a series of wild punches.
Nice sprawl there from England as Sycko shoots in. England shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sycko is trying to defend but England finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sycko has hold of England's hands but England slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. England is controlling the pace.
England is nestled in close to Sycko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. England stands up from half guard. England shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sycko but Sycko pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. England moves into the clinch. Sonni Sycko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dante England is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. England has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sycko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. England tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
And that's the end of the fight! Dante England showed his dominance in that final round. Well England has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
