Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Martin (ranked 2152 p4p, 6146 weight class) and Klay Mcquarrie (ranked 292 p4p, 670 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Klay Mcquarrie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Mcquarrie 's shoulder, as Mcquarrie tries to avoid the shot.
Mcquarrie changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Martin.
Martin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Martin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Klay Mcquarrie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcquarrie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mcquarrie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martin appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A combination from Martin does no damage.
Mcquarrie doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Martin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mcquarrie ! Martin lets Mcquarrie back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
