Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Senior (ranked 3645 p4p, 5823 weight class) and Steve Taylor (ranked 514 p4p, 657 weight class). The key to victory for Joe Senior has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Senior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Taylor! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor punishes Senior's body with a nice straight punch. Senior drives through and clinches with Taylor against the cage.
Senior has Taylor pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Senior pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Taylor tumbling to the mat - Senior dives into Taylor's guard. Senior controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Senior wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Senior tries to free his leg and advance position but Taylor is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Senior wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving. Senior slips nicely into half guard. Taylor is staying active underneath Senior, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor wants to get back to his feet.
Senior is taking a breather. Taylor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor is looking to improve his position.
Senior has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Senior can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape. Senior working Taylor over with strikes here. Senior wants to control the pace but Taylor is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Senior is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Taylor is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Senior content just to control the position here. Senior can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape. Taylor tries to reverse the position but Senior maintains control. Taylor is bucking up trying to escape but Senior cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Steve Taylor has been cut. Senior controlling the pace for now. Senior working for a submission but Taylor is keeping him at bay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Senior working away from the top, dropping strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth. Senior avoids the attempt from Taylor to control. Taylor is trying desperately to improve position. Senior controlling from the full mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor has left one of his arms exposed and Senior doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Taylor screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
