Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24851 p4p, 24416 weight class) and Affectionately Eve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Affectionately Eve has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Affectionately Eve! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Eve displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion. Eve looks for a takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. Eve closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Eve pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eve displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Eve. Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Affectionately Eve. Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Eve counters with a nice body kick. Eve drives through with a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Eve slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Eve wants to stand but Salvacion has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salvacion wants it to stay on the feet. Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eve is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Salvacion shoots in but Eve avoids the takedown attempt easily. Eve changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Eve looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eve is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Affectionately Eve dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Salvacion fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Eve is trying to counter with his kicks. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Eve is defended easily by Salvacion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Eve. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt. Eve throws a fast counter high kick but Salvacion manages to duck under it in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eve fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Salvacion sprawls well initially but Eve persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Eve slows the pace down in half guard. Eve tries to stand but can't do so whilst Salvacion controls his leg. Salvacion tries to get to full guard but Eve has control of the leg. Eve controlling the action here.

Eve has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Affectionately Eve showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Eve shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. Eve appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Eve drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eve tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Salvacion's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eve decides to stand up, so the ref orders Salvacion to his feet. Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Eve's guard. Salvacion won't allow Eve to get back to his feet. Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Eve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salvacion controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eve wants to get back to his feet but Salvacion is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eve can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control but Eve is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Eve avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eve continues to drive forward. Eve is trying to counter with his kicks. Eve breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Eve counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eve tries to avoid it but Salvacion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eve to the ground. Eve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And Eve responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time. Affectionately Eve is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Eve shoots in but Salvacion avoids the takedown attempt easily. Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Eve avoids it. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion fails with the takedown and Eve counters with a nice body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Affectionately Eve comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Eve has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
