Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dr Oraq!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny Racio!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Racio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Oraq is looking to reverse the position.
Racio lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Racio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Oraq struggles to land a body shot inside as Racio controls his hands.
Oraq lands a left hand that snaps the head of Racio backwards.

Dr Oraq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oraq uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Racio closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oraq is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Racio has latched onto it... Big trouble! Racio pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Oraq is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Racio!
