Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Bukowski (ranked 2927 p4p, 4231 weight class) and Kole Mack (ranked 382 p4p, 525 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack takes one on the button.
Mack lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Bukowski moves into the clinch.
Bukowski has Mack pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mack manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Still in the clinch, Bukowski scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mack has a couple of punches blocked by Bukowski.
Bukowski digs a right hand into Mack's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mack's gas tank.
Bukowski tries to work over Mack's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Mack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bukowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mack enables Bukowski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mack manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charles Bukowski.
