Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Shaw (ranked 4364 p4p, 4325 weight class) and Brock Chestnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kevin Shaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brock Chestnar! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw misses with a takedown attempt and Chestnar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chestnar. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Chestnar. Chestnar has Shaw pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chestnar pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Shaw tumbling to the mat - Chestnar dives into Shaw's guard. Shaw striking off his back but it's not causing Chestnar any problems. Shaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chestnar landing with the ground and pound. Chestnar connects with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chestnar controlling from the top position. Shaw wants to stand but Chestnar is controlling the position. Chestnar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chestnar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shaw's guard. Shaw is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Shaw is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Shaw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chestnar sprawls well. Chestnar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shaw fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chestnar avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chestnar throws a body kick that misses. Chestnar throws a sloppy head kick and Shaw moves out of range easily. Shaw feinted with a counter takedown. Horrible takedown attempt by Shaw or perhaps it was just good defense by Chestnar, which made it look bad. Chestnar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chestnar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Chestnar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shaw is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw tries to hold on but Chestnar pushes him away. Chestnar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Chestnar lands a nice shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chestnar looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Chestnar wants to finish this one by submission but Shaw is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chestnar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chestnar controlling the pace for now. Chestnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chestnar avoids the attempt from Shaw to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chestnar controlling the pace for now. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Chestnar dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Chestnar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaw moves away. Chestnar avoids the head kick by Shaw.
Shaw tries to clinch but Chestnar moves out of range. Shaw moves in looking to clinch but Chestnar pushes him off. Chestnar clinches with his opponent.
Shaw tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Chestnar presses Shaw against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Shaw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chestnar smiles and moves away.
A slapping body kick lands there for Shaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chestnar pinned against the cage. Chestnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chestnar steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Shaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shaw misses with a left hand and Chestnar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chestnar. Chestnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chestnar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shaw uses from the top position. Chestnar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chestnar wants to sweep but no luck. Chestnar throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chestnar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chestnar tries to pass to full mount but Shaw defends it. Chestnar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Chestnar's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw is trying to get back to full guard. Chestnar gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Shaw shoots in for a double leg but Chestnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chestnar looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Chestnar stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Brock Chestnar has got the better of the ground game so far. Chestnar stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chestnar gets a clinch. Chestnar gets control of Shaw's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chestnar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Chestnar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chestnar looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Chestnar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chestnar managing to control the position. Shaw trying to control but Chestnar is working from the bottom. Shaw is looking to work some ground and pound but Chestnar has wrist control. Chestnar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw misses with a double jab.
Chestnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kevin Shaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chestnar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chestnar with a nice head shot there. Chestnar cracks Shaw with a solid left hand. Chestnar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Chestnar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Chestnar pushes down on Shaw's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chestnar moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Shaw. Chestnar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shaw down.
Shaw on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Shaw is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chestnar stands up. Chestnar gets the takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Brock Chestnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chestnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Brock Chestnar! Brock Chestnar opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
