Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suzaku Kururugi (ranked 23580 p4p, 5206 weight class) and Sean Tyson (ranked 623 p4p, 537 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Tyson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Tyson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kururugi's waist but Kururugi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyson off to one side.

Kururugi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tyson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tyson and Kururugi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kururugi takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Tyson to pass into mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kururugi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tyson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kururugi swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Suzaku Kururugi!
Suzaku Kururugi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
