Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thorvald Nansen (ranked 834 p4p, 824 weight class) and Mr Mojo Risin (ranked 122 p4p, 119 weight class). Nansen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Benny Jamz - Torden. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nansen misses with a wild body shot.
Risin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nansen slips under a jab.
Nansen throws the left hand but Risin avoids the punch easily.
Risin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nansen is out of range and Risin settles back down.
Nansen throws a poor cross that misses
and Risin counters with a straight right hand.
Risin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Risin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nansen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Risin.
Risin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Risin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Risin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nansen.
Nansen closes the distance and clinches up with Risin, looking for a takedown. Nansen pushes Risin against the cage but Risin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Risin is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Nansen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Nansen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Nansen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Nansen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Risin's waist but Risin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nansen off to one side.

A little jabbing left from Risin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

A quick step to the side and Nansen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nansen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Risin throws out the jab.
Risin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nansen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nansen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Risin can pounce on him.

Nansen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Risin was well out of range. Poor timing from Nansen.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

It looks like Nansen has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Risin sends Nansen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Risin is motioning to the referee to let Nansen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Nansen is rocked!
BOOM! Risin lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nansen. Nansen tries to recover but Risin is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nansen lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Mr Mojo Risin really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brooklyn Apothecary logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
