Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolf Von Hardenberg (ranked 2182 p4p, 4929 weight class) and Carl Foster (ranked 289 p4p, 589 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Von Hardenberg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Von Hardenberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Von Hardenberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Von Hardenberg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Foster moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That has opened up Carl Foster's cut even more.
Foster throws a predictable looking body shot
and Von Hardenberg counters with a body kick that stops Foster in his tracks momentarily.
Foster is still on wobbly legs! Can Von Hardenberg finish him?
Von Hardenberg looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Von Hardenberg backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Foster's temple! It sends Foster violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Von Hardenberg celebrates and the doctors try to help Foster!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Wolf Von Hardenberg!
