Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between River Reigns (ranked 4295 p4p, 2990 weight class) and Oscar Bergman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reigns kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Bloody Sunday" Yelawolf. The key to victory for River Reigns has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergman misses with a takedown attempt - Reigns sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Reigns was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bergman fails to land the takedown.
Reigns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bergman.
River Reigns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Bergman.

Bergman misses with a takedown attempt - Reigns sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bergman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reigns but Reigns pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bergman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Reigns drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reigns jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bergman is on top in guard.
Bergman passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bergman connects with a nice short shot to Reigns's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bergman drops an elbow to the side of Reigns's head.
Bergman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reigns with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Reigns is breathing heavily.
Bergman wants to pass to mount but Reigns is defending the position.

Bergman slips a nice elbow through Reigns's hands, connecting with Reigns's forehead.
Oh Reigns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bergman lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Reigns! More strikes land and this one is all over! Bergman jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
