And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from McVicker.
McBean changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McVicker tries to avoid it but McBean manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McVicker to the ground. McVicker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McVicker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McBean.
McBean moves out of range as McVicker strikes.
McVicker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McVicker lands an overhand right.

McVicker rushes McBean and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McBean fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McBean jumps guard but McVicker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Prince McVicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otto McBean.

McBean seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but McVicker is holding on tight.

McVicker is looking to improve his position but McBean isn't that keen on the idea.

McVicker is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if McBean gets his way!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McVicker is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
