Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Frank Jr (ranked 3091 p4p, 3143 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 417 p4p, 423 weight class). The key to victory for Darius Frank Jr has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darius Frank Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsuruta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Tsuruta shoots for a double leg takedown but Frank Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Tsuruta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tsuruta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frank Jr to the ground. Tsuruta is now in Frank Jr's guard. Tsuruta works over Frank Jr with some ground and pound from guard. Frank Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tsuruta's guard. Tsuruta tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tsuruta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tsuruta in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Tsuruta lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Frank Jr down.
