Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan Teliverty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan Teliverty is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teliverty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Teliverty as he jumps to the side.
dos Santos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Teliverty lands a high kick to the side of dos Santos's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Teliverty dives into guard, looking to finish.

dos Santos has his foot on Teliverty's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Teliverty works his way back into a safe position though.

dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Teliverty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

dos Santos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Teliverty defends it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

dos Santos is trying to stick to Teliverty's back but Teliverty is turning into dos Santos. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in dos Santos's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Teliverty.

Well Teliverty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
