The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walsh to the mat! Walsh manages to get full guard.
Ferreira drops back looking for a leg! Walsh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Walsh manages to kick Ferreira off! Ferreira jumps back into Walsh's guard.
Walsh lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Walsh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ferreira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walsh has managed to get both his arms back between Ferreira's legs - danger averted.
Walsh keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ferreira's head.
It looks like Antonio Ferreira has been cut.
