Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24665 p4p, 24617 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 23 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Buktot tried to counter with a leg kick but Buut avoided it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. Buktot thinks about countering with a body kick. Buktot closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buut's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut keeping moving, preventing Buktot from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage. Buktot controlling from the top position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buut gets the takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot is trying to improve his position. Buut is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buktot's shoulder. That is not cool. Buut working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buut takes a little break here. Buktot wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. It looks like Buut might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Buut bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Buut. Buut fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot shoots in but Buut avoids the takedown attempt easily. Buut tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut leaves Buktot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Buut is trying to counter with his kicks. Buut shoots for a takedown but Buktot saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Buut gets a double leg takedown into Buktot's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buktot trying to control the position here. Buut showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot has control of Buut's left arm, preventing Buut from doing any damage. Buktot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Buktot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buut controls the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buktot's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Buut scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Buktot keeps control of the position for the meantime. Buktot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Buktot trying to control but Buut postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut controlling the action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buktot keeping hold of Buut's head, controlling as best he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buut closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buktot to the mat! Buktot manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Buktot has Buut pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buut looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
