Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chu Chu Fukyu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Weenis McGuinty!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuinty shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fukyu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McGuinty doesn't seem bothered though.
McGuinty blocks a jab.
Fukyu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McGuinty at a distance.
McGuinty connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fukyu throws a leg kick which misses McGuinty's front leg but catches the back leg as McGuinty tries to avoid it.
Fukyu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fukyu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuinty tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fukyu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McGuintys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fukyu dips to his left and cracks McGuinty with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuinty takes a jab right on the kisser.
McGuinty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fukyu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McGuinty counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fukyu is wriggling around but McGuinty manages to pass to half guard.
McGuinty is looking to advance position but Fukyu won't allow it.
McGuinty trying to control the pace.
McGuinty is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fukyu has managed to free his arm - good work.
McGuinty is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGuinty seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
McGuinty throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McGuinty keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
McGuinty is trying to control. Fukyu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
McGuinty has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fukyu defend it? McGuinty steps over the head and cranks it - Fukyu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McGuinty!
