Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Weismuller (ranked 3773 p4p, 2152 weight class) and Judas Priest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weismuller comes to the cage accompanied by The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods. Priest has chosen Jiří Procházka Battle Scream as his entrance music. Tommy Weismuller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Weismuller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Judas Priest! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Priest getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Priest throws a body shot but no joy. It looked like Weismuller was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Weismuller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Weismuller throws a leg kick which misses Priest's front leg but catches the back leg as Priest tries to avoid it. Priest slaps away a takedown attempt from Weismuller, before circling back to the center of the mat. Priest keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Weismuller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Weismuller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Weismuller connects with an inside leg kick. Weismuller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Priest sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weismuller somewhat. Weismuller takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

He's pushed Weismuller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Priest drives through with a takedown into Weismuller's guard. Well, with Priest on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Weismuller is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Weismuller can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Priest looking for the choke but no joy. Weismuller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Priest on the ground. Weismuller turns into Priest and is now in his guard.
Weismuller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Weismuller throws a right and a left that Priest avoids nicely. Weismuller shoots in looking for a takedown. Priest tries to sprawl out of it but Weismuller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Priest manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Priest bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Weismuller's head backwards. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Weismuller throws a head kick that misses. Weismuller needs to keep his hands up - Priest had a free shot at his head there. Weismuller throws a head kick but Priest moves out of range.
Weismuller checks a leg kick nicely. Priest tries to close the distance and clinch up but Weismuller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Priest throws a series of punches but Weismuller moves out of range. Weismuller seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Priest has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Priest tests Weismuller's chin there with a solid looking shot. Priest thows a left - swing and a miss! Weismuller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Judas Priest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Priest looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Weismuller! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A control attempt from Weismuller but he's now mounted! Priest trying to control but he's not successful this time.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Priest wants it to stay on the feet. Priest might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. And that's the end of the fight! Judas Priest comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Priest has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
