Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Kahnwald (ranked 5015 p4p, 4234 weight class) and Doro Jester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonas Kahnwald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doro Jester! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jester is looking to clinch. Kahnwald appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kahnwald throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jester stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jester throws a leg kick that is checked so Kahnwald counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kahnwald is looking to work some ground and pound but Jester has wrist control. Kahnwald postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jester is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kahnwald, into his guard. Kahnwald lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kahnwald advances position into side control! Kahnwald scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jester to see if he's OK. Kahnwald working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kahnwald thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahnwald is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jester has escaped the position, nice work there. Kahnwald throwing shots but missing, from side control. Kahnwald tries for a kimura but Jester is defending well. Jester is looking to reverse the position. Kahnwald scores with punches from side control. Kahnwald tries for a kimura but Jester is defending well. Kahnwald looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kahnwald working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kahnwald is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jester has escaped the position, nice work there. Kahnwald connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jester some visible discomfort.
Kahnwald in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jester wants to control but Kahnwald postures up. Kahnwald in side control, throwing shots but Jester defends. Jester struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jester takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kahnwald is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jester is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sloppy strikes there by Kahnwald. Kahnwald fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kahnwald is trying to get an arm triangle but Jester is defending well. Kahnwald is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jester knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kahnwald looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jester is avoiding damage well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jester takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. An elbow from Kahnwald crashes against the mat.
Kahnwald working the ground and pound but Jester is defending the strikes. Kahnwald tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kahnwald throwing shots but missing, from side control. Kahnwald looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kahnwald goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jester has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kahnwald but great work by Jester. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Kahnwald dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Jester misses with a body kick. Kahnwald half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Jester swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kahnwald decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jester's guard. Jester wants to get back to his feet but Kahnwald passes into half guard.
Kahnwald thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jester is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kahnwald has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kahnwald is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kahnwald is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jester keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahnwald is working for a kimura but Jester is defending it quite comfortably.
Jester is looking for a sweep. Kahnwald is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kahnwald works his way into full mount! Jester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kahnwald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kahnwald is working for a guillotine from mount but Jester frees his head quite easily.
Kahnwald wants to take Jester's back but he can't do it this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kahnwald cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kahnwald lands a big shot there that rocks Jester but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jester is looking to get to half guard. Kahnwald working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kahnwald working the ground and pound effectively.
Kahnwald is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jester can do to turn this around? Kahnwald lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This has been an exciting period of action! Kahnwald lands a couple of good shots and Jester has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Kahnwald has the hooks in. Jester is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Jester defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kahnwald's arms. Kahnwald scores with punches from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kahnwald working for the choke. Kahnwald throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Kahnwald doesn't have the hooks in and Jester manages to turn into his guard.
Kahnwald is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jester is aware though and is defending well. Kahnwald doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jester wants to get up but he can't break Kahnwald's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kahnwald wants to sweep but no luck. Jester avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kahnwald thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahnwald is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kahnwald throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kahnwald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jester trying to control the position from guard on top but Kahnwald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jester stays in close to Kahnwald's body and controls the position. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jester doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jester manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Kahnwald dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round! Kahnwald avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jester throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kahnwald counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jester won't be happy with that. Kahnwald cracks Jester with a big elbow. Kahnwald misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kahnwald swings around for an armbar but Jester sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kahnwald's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kahnwald looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jester is one step ahead there. Kahnwald will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jester must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kahnwald looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kahnwald keeping moving, preventing Jester from controlling successfully. Kahnwald wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jester has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kahnwald to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jester is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kahnwald pulls down on the head and he's put Jester to sleep! This one is all over!
