PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Kahnwald (ranked 5015 p4p, 4234 weight class) and Doro Jester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jester is looking to clinch.
Kahnwald appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kahnwald throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jester stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jester throws a leg kick that is checked

so Kahnwald counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kahnwald is looking to work some ground and pound but Jester has wrist control.

Kahnwald postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jester is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kahnwald, into his guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kahnwald cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Kahnwald avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Kahnwald counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jester won't be happy with that.

Kahnwald misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jester has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kahnwald to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jester is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kahnwald pulls down on the head and he's put Jester to sleep! This one is all over!
