The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maruf fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hams to the ground. Maruf is now in Hams's guard.

Maruf throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hams tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Maruf is in Hams's guard.

Hams throws out a leg kick but Maruf moves out of range and Hams only half commits.
