Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Dalton (ranked 2912 p4p, 5859 weight class) and Levi Hess (ranked 302 p4p, 463 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabriel Dalton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Levi Hess! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalton misses with a takedown and Hess counters with a series of strikes. Dalton will be more careful next time no doubt. Hess closes the distance and clinches. Hess is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dalton is defending well. Dalton has had enough of the clinch but Hess keeps him there for the moment. Dalton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hess manages to break the clinch.
Dalton closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hess did well to prevent Dalton getting side control. Dalton wants to pass the guard but Hess is defending well. Hess tries to kick Dalton off but Dalton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dalton is trying to control the action in half guard but Hess is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dalton slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hess is refusing to be controlled, as Dalton sits in half guard. Dalton slips a nice elbow through Hess's hands, connecting with Hess's forehead. Dalton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Dalton lands with a punch from half guard. Dalton is looking to take a break and control but Hess is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hess has one foot on Dalton's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess closes the distance and pushes Dalton back into the cage. Dalton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dalton manages to pull guard.
Dalton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hess. Hess throwing strikes but missing. Dalton controlling Hess's posture. Hess seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hess is one step ahead there. Dalton is pulling down on Hess's head. It's preventing any offense from Hess, at least for the moment. Hess throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dalton looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hess has picked Dalton up and slammed him! Dalton can't keep hold of the triangle and Hess manages to pass to side control! Hess in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dalton is looking to reverse the position. Dalton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hess's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dalton wants to get back to his feet.
Dalton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hess's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hess's back! Dalton trying to control. Dalton has got his arm under Hess's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Hess has spun round into Dalton's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dalton wants to get back to his feet but Hess passes into half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Levi Hess dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hess gets tackled into the cage by Dalton. Dalton maintains the clinch. Dalton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hess can't fight it off and eventually Dalton manages to take the fight to the floor. Hess looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hess uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hess instigates a clinch. Hess tries to pull guard but Dalton won't allow it.
Dalton wants to break free but Hess has control.
Dalton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hess after a bit of a struggle. Hess keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dalton's efforts to push away. Dalton jumps guard but Hess turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalton is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hess is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Dalton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hess stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hess jumps guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dalton's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dalton won't allow Hess to get back to his feet. Dalton trying to control the position from guard on top but Hess is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hess has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dalton is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Hess tries to pull guard but Dalton won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dalton closes the distance and lands a one-two. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dalton is defended easily by Hess. Dalton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dalton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Levi Hess is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dalton moves into range and clinches up with Hess. Hess tries for a takedown but Dalton manages to get underhooks.
Hess's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hess is looking to clinch. Hess fails in his attempt to clinch. Hess misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hess as he jumps to the side. As Dalton backs off Hess throws a huge counter combo but Dalton manages to avoid it all. Hess moves into the clinch successfully.
Hess breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dalton has a takedown stuffed. Dalton shoots in but no luck this time. Hess gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Levi Hess has got the better of the ground game so far. Dalton connects with a couple of short punches. Dalton prevents Hess from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dalton stops Hess from standing up. Dalton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hess kicks Dalton off and gets to his feet. Hess fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hess is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hess gets caught napping as Dalton dives in and scores a takedown. Hess manages to retain guard. Hess is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dalton dives into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Levi Hess will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Dalton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Hess is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hess will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hess keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hess tries to keep at a distance but Dalton has taken the fight into the clinch. Hess breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hess.
Hess bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hess leaves Dalton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Despite the aggression on Hess's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Dalton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hess pinned against the cage. Hess gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Dalton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dalton clinches. Dalton blocking some punches.
Hess's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hess slaps away a takedown attempt from Dalton, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess clinches with his opponent.

He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hess stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dalton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dalton is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hess pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dalton shoots in for a double leg but Hess sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hess is looking for the big counter here. Hess stuffs the takedown attempt from Dalton. Dalton gets slowly back to his feet. Dalton closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hess pulls guard effortlessly. Dalton throwing strikes from guard but Hess blocks nicely. Hess is working an open guard so Dalton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hess has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dalton dives in for a single leg takedown but Hess sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hess looking for a takedown. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hess breaks the clinch.
Dalton throws a push kick but Hess slaps the foot to one side. Gabriel Dalton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Levi Hess is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dalton rushes Hess and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Levi Hess comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hess winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
