Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuuji Hoshino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blood Money! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoshino misses the shot to the body. Money fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Money misses with a double jab.
Hoshino misses with a body punch
and Money counters with a one-two to the body. Money on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Money scores with a one two! Hoshino had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hoshino falls off balance throwing a combination
and Money counters with a straight right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Money looks to land a combination but Hoshino avoids it well. Money misses with an uppercut. Hoshino saw that one coming. Money is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hoshino. Money misses with a hook. Hoshino scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Money looks to throw the jab but Hoshino is out of range. Money lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hoshino circles away quickly and effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money misses the jab. Hoshino was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Money has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hoshino walks into a straight right hand from Money. Money is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Money slips under a jab from Hoshino. Hoshino lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Hoshino misses with a series of wild punches.
Money throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoshino sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hoshino takes one on the button. A punch combination from Money misses. Money slips under a jab. Money misses with a right hand and Hoshino counters with a left to the body. Money rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hoshino counters with an inside leg kick. Hoshino misses with a straight left. Blood Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Money throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoshino. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A combination from Money does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Money misses. Money misses with a two punch combination.
The fighters circle momentarily. Money darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Money works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hoshino drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Money misses with a straight right. Hoshino looks to score with a jab to the body but Money is just out of range. Hoshino takes a jab right on the kisser.
Money throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hoshino makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Money really felt that one! Money takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Money uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hoshino. Money pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A swing and a miss from Money. Hoshino fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Money manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoshino's jab looks to have found its range, popping Money under the eye.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuuji Hoshino! A relieved looking Yuuji Hoshino thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
