Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23456 p4p, 23416 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 67 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 63 - 51 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut darts in looking for a takedown but Buktot gets double underhooks and turns Buut into the cage. Buktot gets a double leg takedown into Buut's guard. Buut wants to control but Buktot passes easily into half guard.
Buut is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Buut is looking for a sweep. Buktot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Buktot is figuring out what he wants to do next. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buut manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buktot on his heels. He'll look to pass Buktot's guard now, I'm sure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buktot pulls Buut in close to prevent any damage. Buut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Buut throwing strikes from guard but Buktot blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot managing to control the position. Buut slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Buktot is pulling down on Buut's head to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut misses with a takedown attempt - Buktot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. No luck with that takedown attempt from Buktot. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dawindi Buktot will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Buktot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buut defends well and Buktot ends up having to push Buut into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Buktot tries for a takedown but Buut manages to get underhooks.
Buut escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Buut closes the distance and clinches up with Buktot, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes Buktot against the cage but Buktot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buktot tries to avoid it but Buut manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buktot to the ground. Buktot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Buktot was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Buut bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot tries to get back to half guard but can't. Buktot is trying to control Buut's posture but Buut avoids it. Buut taking a breather here. Buut wants to control but Buktot is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buktot can't do much from the bottom here. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far. Buktot trying to remain calm as Buut controls from the top position. Buktot wants to control but Buut postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buut is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buktot's half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Buut performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Buktot won't allow Buut to pass to mount. Buut content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buktot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Buut is working away from the top position though. Buktot is trying to get back to full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Buut with a lazy takedown attempt and Buktot counters with a single leg into guard. Buut didn't expect that. Buktot chips away with some ground and pound. Buut is trying to control the position but Buktot postures up. Buut pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut wants to sweep here but Buktot controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buut keeping moving, preventing Buktot from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown but Buut manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buktot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buut replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buktot blocks it well. Buut shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Buut keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And Buktot counters with a quick kick to the body but Buut blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buktot drives through with a takedown into Buut's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
