Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kesse Nesse (ranked 4493 p4p, 5325 weight class) and Steven French (ranked 476 p4p, 517 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kesse Nesse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven French!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for French.
French keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
French throws a body punch but Nesse moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by French. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of French.

It looks like Kesse Nesse has been cut.
French throws a nice outside leg kick.

Nesse scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

French felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nesse is looking to advance position but French won't allow it.
French wants to improve his position but Nesse is controlling well.
Nesse takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
French is looking to control Nesse's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can French avoid being mounted?

Nesse is looking for a kimura but French is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nesse to get the leverage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nesse isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. French stacks Nesse on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by French!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Kesse Nesse will probably get the nod.

Nesse drops back, looking for a kneebar! French looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. French looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from French!

French blocks the strikes from Nesse.
French gets to mount! Nesse was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Nesse is desperately trying to improve his position but French has a good base and remains in mount.
Nesse wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
French is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Nesse looking very determined here, making life difficult for French.
Kesse Nesse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

French has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nesse has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

French is trying to stick to Nesse's back but Nesse is turning into French. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in French's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nesse.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
