Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Suarez (ranked 4655 p4p, 3780 weight class) and Ross Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Suarez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Clay! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suarez darts in and clinches Clay up against the cage. Clay has Suarez pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Suarez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A bit of stalling here from Suarez.
Suarez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Clay lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Anderson Suarez has been cut. Suarez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clay is fending him off so far but Suarez persists. Nope, Clay circles away and we're back to standing. Clay has Suarez up against the cage in a clinch.
Suarez is trying to pull guard but Clay turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Suarez misses with a punch on the inside.
Suarez is defending well against a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suarez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A slapping leg kick lands for Clay.
Suarez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Clay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Suarez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Suarez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clay is fending him off so far but Suarez persists. Nope, Clay circles away and we're back to standing. Clay throws a fast counter high kick but Suarez manages to duck under it in time. Clay lands a big right hook! Suarez looks hurt but is still standing! Clay lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Suarez falls down and Clay dives in with a huge hammer fist! Suarez's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Clay runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ross Clay!
