Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Orshawl (ranked 25541 p4p, 25441 weight class) and Jeramiah Brewer (ranked 437 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Take me home, Country road kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jeramiah Brewer has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Orshawl.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brewer or perhaps it was just good defense by Orshawl, which made it look bad.
Orshawl drops down looking for a counter takedown but Brewer sprawls and moves away.
Orshawl drives through with a takedown into guard.

Orshawl drops back looking for a leg! Brewer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brewer manages to kick Orshawl off! Orshawl jumps back into Brewer's guard.

Orshawl has Brewer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Orshawl pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Brewer tumbling to the mat - Orshawl dives into Brewer's guard.

Brewer shoots in but Orshawl avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Orshawl has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Brewer slaps away a takedown attempt from Orshawl, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Orshawl sets himself, and Brewer steps forward looking for the clinch! Orshawl avoids it this time.
Brewer tries to close the distance and clinch but Orshawl swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brewer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brewer is looking to stand back up but Orshawl counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Brewer.

Orshawl takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Orshawl winds up and cracks Brewer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Brewer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Orshawl scores with a couple of nice shots.
Orshawl seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Orshawl is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brewer is just riding it out for now. Orshawl eventually gives up the hold.

Orshawl decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Orshawl leaves Brewer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Orshawl clinches up with Brewer and pushes him back against the cage.
Orshawl breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Orshawl closes the distance and pushes Brewer back into the cage.

Orshawl throws a nice looking combination but Brewer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brewer misses with a few strikes there.

and Orshawl counters with a left and a right that stings Brewer.
Brewer takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Orshawl throws a right and a left that Brewer avoids nicely.
