Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Hebert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paxton Summers!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hebert pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hebert fails with a takedown attempt.
Summers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Summers takes a kick to the side of the head.
Summers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A little feinted left hand from Hebert on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Summers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hebert.
Hebert feints and then cracks Summers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Summers down.

Summers has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Summers is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Hebert has Summers pressed against the cage, preventing Summers from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Summers lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hebert tries to pull guard but Summers holds him up against the cage and eventually Hebert drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Van Hebert. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Summers blocking some punches.

Summers is trying to force a seperation but Hebert has the dominant position.

Summers manages to break the clinch.
Summers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hebert doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Summers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Summers.
Summers wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hebert has him pressed against the cage.
Summers wants to break the clinch but can't.
Summers wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Summers has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hebert breaks from the clinch.
Summers scores with a nice head shot.
Summers keeps the fight on the outside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Summers clinches with his opponent.
Summers is trying to break free.
Summers throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Hebert fails to pull guard.
Summers gets underhooks to prevent Hebert's takedown attempt.
Hebert is breathing heavily.
Hebert is trying to maintain a safe position but Summers gets an underhook and turns Hebert into the cage.
Summers stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Hebert jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Summers walks away with a smile on his face. Hebert gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Summers moves into range and clinches up with Hebert.

Summers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Summers closes the distance and pushes Hebert back into the cage.
Hebert keeps control of Summers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Summers is trying to break the clinch but Hebert has him pressed against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hebert tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Summers smiles and moves away.
Hebert tries to clinch but Summers moves out of range.
Summers tries to counter by closing the distance.
Hebert takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Summers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Van Hebert has been cut.

Summers moves into range and clinches up with Hebert.
Summers wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Summers works on Hebert's body with a couple of short punches.

Summers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Summers has knocked Hebert down with a huge combo! Summers steps away and waves a wobbly Hebert back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hebert is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Summers connects with a combination that backs up Hebert into the cage. Summers lands a flurry of punches that gets past Hebert's guard. Hebert is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Summers bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paxton Summers!
