Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Sanders (ranked 1247 p4p, 2487 weight class) and Salvador Orivarez (ranked 61 p4p, 93 weight class). Sanders comes into the arena with Le Freak- CHIC blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Salvador Orivarez!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurstr�m.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orivarez shoots and misses
and Sanders connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sanders gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Orivarez to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Orivarez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sanders definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Orivarez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Orivarez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Orivarez throws an elbow that misses. Sanders uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Orivarez's guard. Nice move by Sanders!

Orivarez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sanders escapes and throws Orivarez's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Orivarez is looking for a sweep.
Orivarez is still trying to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Orivarez wants to control but Sanders postures up.
Orivarez tries to bench press Sanders off him but Sanders keeps the position.
Sanders decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Orivarez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Charles Sanders is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Orivarez shoots in but Sanders avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Orivarez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Orivarez looks winded!
Orivarez walks into a left hand.
It looks like Salvador Orivarez has been cut.
Orivarez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sanders throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Orivarez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sanders lands with a right and another and another! Orivarez is in big trouble! Sanders lands again and this time it's lights out for Orivarez! A quality knockout there for Sanders.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Charles Sanders!
