The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. stevenson sprawls well initially but Cote persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
stevenson is refusing to be controlled, as Cote sits in half guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cote cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

stevenson wants the takedown. Cote is fighting it off but stevenson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cote's guard against the cage.

stevenson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cote was covering up waiting for the punch and stevenson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Patrick Cote will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Patrick Cote overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cote is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of stevenson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take stevenson's back!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Cote's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Cote is trying to stick to stevenson's back but stevenson is turning into Cote. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cote's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by stevenson.

I would just about give that final round to Nick stevenson.
