Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Pitta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel de vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Pitta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Angel de vera! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! de vera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pitta's waist but Pitta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing de vera off to one side. de vera shoots for a takedown but Pitta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pitta throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. de vera shoots in for a double leg but Pitta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sam Pitta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angel de vera. de vera feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. de vera looking to sit in guard and control but Pitta gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pitta drops back looking for a leg! de vera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and de vera manages to kick Pitta off! That's one minute gone in the round. Pitta passes de vera's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pitta looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pitta is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and de vera defends it well.
