The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea misses with a low kick.
Fairtex looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
OShea doesn't manage to clinch there - Fairtex circles away.
OShea lands a two punch combo.
Fairtex really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OShea in particular looking to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. OShea connects with a nice short shot to Fairtex's temple.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
OShea throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

OShea seems to be looking for submissions.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

OShea closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - OShea lands in his opponent's guard.
Fairtex is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and OShea defends well.

Fairtex is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst OShea is controlling him.
Fairtex escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. OShea gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fairtex working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. OShea doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. OShea manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
OShea drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and OShea jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fairtex had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. OShea defends it easily.
OShea passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Aaron OShea is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

OShea is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fairtex will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

OShea defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
OShea throws a strike but Fairtex rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
OShea wants to stand up but Fairtex is controlling him.
