Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Demolition Reem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Misko Buba!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Demolition Reem has been cut.
Buba tries to clinch but Reem is having none of it.
Reem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buba looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Reem avoids the strikes from the bottom by Buba.
Buba sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Reem not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Buba is trying to control but can't.
Buba throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Reem is controlling the pace.
Reem could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Reem is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Buba manages to get to full guard.
Buba has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Reem should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Buba has tightened it up now! Reem should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
