Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slim Calhoun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little McCarty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calhoun's entrance music is Always Strapped. A fine choice. McCarty is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tech N9ne - Yeah. Little McCarty has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Calhoun was well out of range. Poor timing from McCarty.
Calhoun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McCarty misses with an uppercut
and Calhoun counters with a head kick that drops McCarty to the mat! McCarty scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
McCarty is rocked!
McCarty lands a nice looking body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Calhoun.
McCarty with a hook.
Calhoun misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McCarty circles away from the clinch attempt.
Calhoun takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Slim Calhoun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from McCarty. No joy for Calhoun on that attempt.
McCarty takes a swing at Calhoun's ribcage but misses.
McCarty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Calhoun tries to clinch but McCarty is having none of it.
Calhoun darts in trying to clinch
and Calhoun takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCarty lands a body shot.
Calhoun takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Calhoun shoots for a takedown but McCarty saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slim Calhoun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCarty scores with a nice strike.
McCarty throws a good cross that connects.

McCarty misses with a two punch combination.
Calhoun shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCarty as he avoids it easily.
Calhoun tries to clinch but McCarty moves away
and McCarty counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Calhoun takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Calhoun pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCarty bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Calhoun's head backwards.
Calhoun fails in his attempt to clinch.
Calhoun takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Calhoun is breathing heavily.
Calhoun darts in trying to clinch
and McCarty counters with a left to the body.
Donk. McCarty catches Calhoun right on the button with a cross.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McCarty, as that shot connected.
Calhoun moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Calhoun is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Calhoun shoots in looking for a takedown but McCarty manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Calhoun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oh Calhoun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCarty misses with a double jab.
Calhoun seems to have got his legs back now.
McCarty punishes Calhoun's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice jab there from McCarty.
McCarty tests Calhoun's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCarty fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Calhoun looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McCarty pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Calhoun back to the cage. McCarty follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
McCarty stuns Calhoun with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Calhoun takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McCarty connects with a body shot that sends Calhoun's belly button to the back.
McCarty scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
McCarty listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
McCarty throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Calhoun crashing down! Calhoun tries to stagger back to his feet but McCarty just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Calhoun asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Little McCarty!
