Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Davis! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown throws a series of punches but Davis avoids them all with ease. Davis forces Brown back against the cage and clinches. Brown has Davis pushed against the cage. Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Davis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brown pulls him back up using the underhooks. Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Davis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Davis persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Davis wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Brown could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Davis trying to pass the guard but Brown defending well. Brown is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Davis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Brown is controlling Davis's position as best he can from this difficult position. Brown wants to improve his position but Davis is controlling well.
Davis has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Brown works to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from Brown. Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Brown is trying to keep Davis in close.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brown holds on and takes a little breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We're going to have a standup here because Harry Brown wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Brown throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Davis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davis gets slowly back to his feet. Harry Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Davis. Davis misses with a takedown and Brown counters with a nice double leg into guard. Davis looks gassed! Davis wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brown passes Davis's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brown is trying to control. Davis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Davis trying to control but Brown postures up.
Brown is figuring out what he wants to do next. Brown uses his free foot to push down on Davis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Davis. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Brown fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Brown dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Davis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Brown trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Brown stands and throws Davis's legs to the side, diving into side control. Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Davis is defending well. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Brown here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Brown trying to control the position but Davis is working away. Davis wants to get back to his feet but Brown is dominant here and he's now got Davis's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown looking for the choke from the back. Davis tries to escape but Brown has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Davis is breathing heavily. Brown struggling to land strikes to the head as Davis covers up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Davis won't enjoy being in this position. Brown looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Davis is tapping - it's over boys! Brown picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harry Brown!
