Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Carey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viper RNC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Big Poppa. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Carey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viper RNC! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! RNC stuffs the takedown. RNC drives through with a takedown into guard. RNC slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Carey working for a triangle but RNC defends it easily.
Carey tries to land a sweep but no joy. RNC thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. RNC trying to control the position from guard on top but Carey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. RNC stands up and waves to Carey to follow him. Carey instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carey is trying to break free. RNC has Carey pushed against the cage. Carey looking to stall.
Carey pulls guard successfully.
RNC trying to control but Carey is working from the bottom. Carey looking to hit a scissor sweep but RNC is one step ahead there. Carey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. RNC wants to control from the top but Carey keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. RNC drops back looking for a leg! Carey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carey manages to kick RNC off! RNC jumps back into Carey's guard. Carey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in RNC's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carey wants to control from the top but RNC keeps moving. Carey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Carey trying to control but RNC is working from the bottom. RNC not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
RNC might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Carey kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. RNC looks gassed! RNC keeping moving, preventing Carey from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Carey tries for a takedown but RNC circles away easily and RNC counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. RNC slips nicely into half guard. RNC is trying to work for a kimura but Carey is defending well.
Carey holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. RNC thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carey's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carey has one foot on RNC's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. RNC clinches up with Carey and pushes him back against the cage. RNC jumps into guard, dragging Carey to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. RNC working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Carey looking to pass the guard. Carey trying to control but RNC is working from the bottom. Carey throws a strike but RNC rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Carey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carey is trying to control the position but RNC postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Viper RNC dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
RNC will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and RNC moves into the clinch. RNC pulls Carey into guard.
Carey won't allow RNC to sweep him here. Carey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. RNC swivels though and keeps the full guard. RNC not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Carey advances position into side control! Carey has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Carey has his takedown stuffed and RNC counters with a body kick that stops Carey in his tracks momentarily. Carey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has RNC pinned against the cage. RNC gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him. RNC shoots in and bounces Carey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carey working for a triangle but RNC defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as RNC accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. RNC trying to control but Carey is working from the bottom. RNC works over Carey with some ground and pound from guard. Carey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as RNC controls the pace. Carey looking to hit a scissor sweep but RNC is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but RNC can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. RNC slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. RNC is fighting to break Carey's control of his arms but Carey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. RNC stops Carey from standing up. RNC sitting in guard, not really doing much. Carey is looking to sweep but instead, RNC has passed into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carey wants to control but RNC is keeping busy.
Carey works his way to full guard. Good work. RNC wants to control from the top but Carey keeps moving. Carey trying to keep a closed guard but RNC is proving a slippery customer.
Carey manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Carey doesn't succeed with the takedown and RNC counters with a thumping low kick. Carey gets a takedown into half guard. Carey wants to stand up but RNC is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. RNC wants to control the action here but instead Carey manages to pass to full mount! Carey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Carey content just to control the position here. Carey lands a big shot there that rocks RNC but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Carey is standing up, even though he is in mount. Carey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. RNC wants to sweep but Carey has passed to side control! Carey working away. RNC is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Carey dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
RNC shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than RNC was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! RNC looking to control and managing it successfully. Carey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. RNC looking to control but Carey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. RNC stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. RNC pushes Carey away with a front kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Carey tries to clinch but RNC moves away and RNC counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Viper RNC has got the better of the ground game so far. RNC slips a nice elbow through Carey's hands, connecting with Carey's forehead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carey is holding on to half guard well. Carey works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carey wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and RNC manages to pass to side control. Carey wants to control but RNC is keeping busy.
RNC seems to be working for a kimura but Carey defends the submission attempt. RNC stops Carey from getting back to his feet.

Carey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of RNC's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. RNC controls Carey momentarily but Carey frees himself. Carey tries to free his leg and advance position but RNC is retaining full guard. RNC is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Carey has gone for a leg lock! RNC slips out almost immediately though and dives into Carey's guard. RNC sitting in guard here, content to control. Carey keeping moving, preventing RNC from controlling successfully. RNC lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. RNC trying to control but Carey is working from the bottom. Carey is looking for a triangle here but RNC uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
RNC wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carey keeps working. Carey is looking for a sweep. Carey wants to control but RNC postures up. Carey manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. RNC is thwarting Carey's attempts to control the position. RNC trying to pass the guard but Carey defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. RNC moves into the clinch. Carey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carey tries to pull guard but RNC won't allow it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. RNC smiles and moves away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. RNC scores with a nice body kick.
RNC shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carey's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Viper RNC comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well RNC has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
