Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rikki Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Wozynsky! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Wozynsky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown with a lazy takedown attempt and Wozynsky counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that. Wozynsky wanted to stand there but Brown had control of the position. Wozynsky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Brown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wozynsky is one step ahead there. Brown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wozynsky defends well. Wozynsky throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wozynsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wozynsky has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted. Wozynsky showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Wozynsky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown controls Wozynsky momentarily but Wozynsky frees himself. Wozynsky throws a big elbow that misses. Wozynsky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wozynsky sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wozynsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wozynsky defends it easily. Wozynsky trying to move into half guard but instead Brown has managed to sweep!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wozynsky working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.
Wozynsky kicks Brown off and gets to his feet. Brown fails to land the takedown. Brown gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wozynsky slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Wozynsky preventing the sweep. Wozynsky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown is breathing heavily. Wozynsky looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Wozynsky dominated that round. That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wozynsky closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brown's guard. Brown wants to stand but Wozynsky is controlling the position. Wozynsky trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Wozynsky gets to his feet. Brown looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A looping hook to the body misses from Wozynsky. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet. Brown throws a head kick but Wozynsky moves out of range.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wozynsky decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wozynsky engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wozynsky tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard. Brown is looking for a triangle but Wozynsky pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wozynsky is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adam Wozynsky has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Brown shoots in but no luck this time. Wozynsky gets a double leg takedown into Brown's guard. Wozynsky looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Wozynsky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wozynsky lands in his opponent's guard. Wozynsky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brown is proving hard to escape from. Wozynsky throws a sloppy strike and Brown has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Wozynsky is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Brown!
