Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Coryatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Krauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coryatt comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome 2 Houston. Felix Krauss is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coryatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Krauss! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coryatt connects with a body shot that sends Krauss's belly button to the back. Krauss fails with the takedown and Coryatt counters with a stiff right hand. Coryatt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Coryatt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Krauss did well to prevent Coryatt getting side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Still in half guard, Coryatt seems content to control. Coryatt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Coryatt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Coryatt throwing shots but Krauss is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if Coryatt is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coryatt is looking to take a break and control but Krauss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coryatt trying to control the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kevin Coryatt wasn't doing enough on the ground. Krauss drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Krauss stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coryatt. Krauss tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Krauss loads up on a big right hand but Coryatt slips the punch. Krauss looks gassed! Coryatt connects with a crisp jab. Krauss misses with a takedown and Coryatt counters with a shoot takedown. Krauss fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coryatt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Krauss avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Coryatt is in close to Krauss's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coryatt not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Coryatt tries to free his leg and advance position but Krauss is retaining full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Kevin Coryatt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Krauss takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Coryatt scores with a hook. Krauss with a poor takedown and Coryatt counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Kevin Coryatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Krauss. Coryatt scores with a body shot.
Krauss is trying desperately to land a takedown but Coryatt is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Krauss. Coryatt scores with a kick to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Coryatt throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Coryatt.
Krauss takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coryatt delivers a nice body kick. Coryatt lands with a nice body punch. Coryatt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Krauss stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coryatt. Coryatt thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Krauss if he has to take too many more of those.
Coryatt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Coryatt! Krauss is out on his feet! Coryatt rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Krauss is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Krauss is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Coryatt! Kevin Coryatt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
