Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Rearden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Heijnens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitch Heijnens!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rearden lands a glancing blow to the side of Heijnens's head.
Rearden throws a lazy uppercut
and Heijnens counters with a two punch combo.
Rearden misses with a left hand
and Heijnens counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rearden thinking.
Rearden throws a right hand that misses
and Heijnens counters with a left and a right that stings Rearden.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rearden lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Heijnens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rearden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Heijnens somewhat.
Heijnens scores with a head kick.
It looks like Hank Rearden has been cut.
Heijnens fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rearden throws an off balance right hand
and Heijnens counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rearden's knee momentarily.
Rearden throws a lazy uppercut
and Heijnens counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rearden throws a right hand that misses
and Heijnens counters with a thumping low kick.
Heijnens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rearden as he jumps to the side.
Hank Rearden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mitch Heijnens.
Rearden throws a lazy uppercut
and Heijnens counters with a two punch combo.
Heijnens throws a nice looking combination but Rearden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Heijnens gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rearden gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Heijnens is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hank Rearden!
Hank Rearden bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
