Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Lawisch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Bittencourt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Lawisch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jefferson Bittencourt! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Lawisch. Those never looked like landing. Lawisch misses with a body shot.
Bittencourt scores a takedown into full mount! Lawisch is looking to improve his position but Bittencourt isn't that keen on the idea. Lawisch is working hard here to advance position. Bittencourt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bittencourt is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lawisch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lawisch keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Lawisch prevents Bittencourt from taking his back. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bittencourt has eaten all the pies! Lawisch tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lawisch tries to lock up and control but Bittencourt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bittencourt misses with a head shot. Lawisch is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bittencourt trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bittencourt controlling the position easily from mount. Bittencourt throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bittencourt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Lawisch throws a right and a left that both miss. Lawisch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bittencourt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bittencourt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lawisch. Bittencourt feints and as Lawisch raises his hands in defense, Bittencourt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lawisch is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawisch is trying to keep Bittencourt in close.
Lawisch throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bittencourt uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. A lull in the action here. Bittencourt wants to control but Lawisch is keeping him busy. Bittencourt passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lawisch! Bittencourt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bittencourt content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bittencourt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lawisch to the mat! Lawisch manages to get full guard. Bittencourt trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawisch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lawisch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lawisch has control of Bittencourt's left arm, preventing Bittencourt from doing any damage. Lawisch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bittencourt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bittencourt tries to stand but Lawisch is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bittencourt preventing the sweep. Lawisch wriggles free and stands up. Lawisch walks into a left hand. Lawisch tries to clinch but Bittencourt moves out of range. Bittencourt throws a right hand that Lawisch ducks under and follows up with a left that Lawisch also avoids with ease. Bittencourt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Bittencourt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lawisch! Bittencourt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lawisch is looking to improve his position but Bittencourt isn't that keen on the idea. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bittencourt avoids the attempt from Lawisch to control. Lawisch is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Bittencourt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lawisch can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bittencourt tries to control but Lawisch wriggling away. Bittencourt is standing up, even though he is in mount. Bittencourt gets a clinch. Lawisch tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Lawisch tries to pull guard but Bittencourt forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinicius Lawisch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lawisch tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bittencourt's elbow. Bittencourt has picked Lawisch up - he's going for a ride! Bittencourt dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bittencourt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bittencourt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bittencourt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lawisch is looking to escape. Bittencourt controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jefferson Bittencourt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Lawisch gets caught flat footed, as Bittencourt shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bittencourt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lawisch swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lawisch striking off his back but it's not causing Bittencourt any problems. Lawisch has his foot on Bittencourt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bittencourt works his way back into a safe position though. Bittencourt throwing strikes but missing. Bittencourt drops back looking for a leg! Lawisch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lawisch manages to kick Bittencourt off! Bittencourt jumps back into Lawisch's guard. Lawisch controls Bittencourt momentarily but Bittencourt frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bittencourt wants to control from the top but Lawisch keeps moving. Lawisch wants to stand up but Bittencourt is controlling him. Bittencourt missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bittencourt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lawisch swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bittencourt trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawisch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lawisch is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bittencourt wants to stand but Lawisch has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lawisch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bittencourt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bittencourt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bittencourt wants to stand up but Lawisch has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawisch wants to stand back up but Bittencourt manages to pass into side control.
The ground and pound from Bittencourt seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bittencourt advances nicely into full mount. Lawisch is trying desperately to improve position. Bittencourt controlling his opponent. Lawisch is trying to reverse the position but instead Bittencourt has taken his back - oops!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bittencourt somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Bittencourt is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lawisch defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. You can see the frustration on Lawisch's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Bittencourt is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lawisch is defending well though. Bittencourt let's go of the attempt for now. Lawisch tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Vinicius Lawisch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jefferson Bittencourt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! Jefferson Bittencourt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bittencourt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
