Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janis Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakota Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Janis Funkyama has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Janis Funkyama seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blevins. Blevins circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Funkyama throws a nice head kick!
Funkyama works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blevins.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Funkyama delivers a nice body kick.
Funkyama scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A solid leg kick lands there for Funkyama.
Blevins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Funkyama tries to avoid it but Blevins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Funkyama to the ground. Funkyama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Funkyama lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Dakota Blevins has been cut.
Blevins looks gassed!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Funkyama.
Blevins on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Funkyama.
Funkyama scores with a hook to the body. Blevins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Funkyama throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Blevins's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Funkyama lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Janis Funkyama!
