Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tinker Evers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Barrack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Barrack's choice of entrance music: kane's theme tune. Tinker Evers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Barrack's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Barrack!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evers fails with a takedown attempt.

Evers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barrack did well to prevent Evers getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Barrack pushes Evers off and gets back to his feet.

Evers takes the fight into the clinch.
Barrack is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Barrack is fighting to break Evers's control of his arms but Evers is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Evers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Barrack is controlling him.
Evers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barrack is one step ahead there.

Barrack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Evers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barrack, into his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barrack had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Evers defends it easily.

Barrack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Evers tries to avoid it but Barrack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Evers to the ground. Evers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Evers reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Evers taps out! Nice BJJ there by Barrack!
