Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikita Djigurda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikita Djigurda is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Djigurda.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Djigurda enables McQueen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Djigurda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

McQueen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McQueen shoots in for a takedown but Djigurda shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McQueen shoots in looking for a takedown. Djigurda tries to sprawl out of it but McQueen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Djigurda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Djigurda counters with a double leg. McQueen bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Djigurda follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.
