Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Nakadai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hugo Reyes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugo Reyes! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nakadai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reyes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nakadai won't be happy with that. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Reyes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nakadai has escaped the position, nice work there. Reyes tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Reyes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Reyes has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nakadai! This has been an exciting period of action! Nakadai wants to get back to his feet.
Reyes has control of Nakadai's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nakadai regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakadai is trying to stand. Reyes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nakadai manages to avoid the submission attempt. Reyes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nakadai, who protects the arm well. Nakadai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reyes on the ground.

Reyes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nakadai, who protects the arm well. Nakadai pushes Reyes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Reyes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Reyes tries for a kimura but Nakadai is defending well. Nakadai wants to get back to his feet. Reyes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nakadai, who protects the arm well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakadai prevents Reyes from moving into mount. Reyes is working to tighten is grip on Nakadai's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nakadai has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Reyes is really squeezing tight and eventually Nakadai passes out! Reyes breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
