Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Polak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calon Golub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golub throws an overhand right that lands on Polak's shoulder, as Polak tries to avoid the shot.
Polak shoots in looking for a takedown. Golub tries to sprawl out of it but Polak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Golub manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Golub tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Polak smiles and moves away.

Golub is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Polak jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Golub walks away with a smile on his face. Polak gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Golub darts in and clinches Polak up against the cage.

Golub tries to break free but Polak pushes him back against the cage.
Golub has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Polak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Polak lands a body shot.
Polak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Golub stuffs the takedown.
Polak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Golub shoots for a double leg takedown but Polak sprawls well. He's pushed Golub's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Golub can do anything to dispel that myth.

Polak goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Golub rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Polak's guard! Nice work there by Golub!
Polak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Golub!

Golub postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Polak looks a forlorn figure.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Golub is landing with some decent strikes but Polak is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jan Polak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Calon Golub comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Golub has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
