Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Robinson. No joy for Bowman on that attempt.
Bowman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bowman tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Robinson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bowman thinking.
Robinson throws a big shot that misses.
Bowman has Robinson up against the cage in a clinch.
Robinson digs a right hand into Bowman's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bowman's gas tank.
Robinson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Jack Bowman has been cut.
Bowman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robinson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bowman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Robinson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bowmans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Robinson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bowman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bowman misses the shot to the body.
Bowman wants to clinch but Robinson slips to the side
and Robinson counters with a nice uppercut.

Bowman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bowman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bowman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Robinson.
Bowman thows a body shot but no joy.
Bowman tries to clinch
and Robinson counters with a straight right hand.
Bowman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Robinson.
Robinson moves out of range as Bowman strikes.
Bowman on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bowman takes a swing at Robinson's ribcage but misses.
Robinson misses the jab.
Bowman tries to bum rush Robinson with a series of wild strikes but Robinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Robinson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bowman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Robinson to the mat! Robinson manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Robinson has a closed guard, preventing Bowman from standing up.
Robinson wants to get back to his feet but Bowman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robinson keeping moving, preventing Bowman from controlling successfully.
Bowman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Robinson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bowman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bowman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jack Bowman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Robinson throws a nice looking combination but Bowman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Bowman counters with a shoot takedown. Robinson fights it but they end up in guard.
