Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Aldridge! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldridge shoots in and drives through. Robinson sprawls well. Robinson connects with a body shot that sends Aldridge's belly button to the back. Aldridge fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Robinson lands a nice shot to the body.
Aldridge shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robinson pinned against the cage. Robinson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nate Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Aldridge. Aldridge shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sloppy strikes from Robinson. Those never looked like landing. Robinson lands a left and a right that sends Aldridge crashing to the canvas! Robinson dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like Brian Aldridge has been cut. Aldridge looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Aldridge sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldridge punching from the bottom.
Aldridge should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Aldridge wants to improve his position but Robinson is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson wants to stand up but Aldridge is controlling the position.
Robinson has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Aldridge works to full guard. Robinson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aldridge is proving hard to escape from. Aldridge has his hands on Robinson's head, controlling the position. Aldridge looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robinson is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robinson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Robinson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aldridge's hands. Robinson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Robinson punishes Aldridge's body with a nice straight punch. This has been an exciting period of action! A cross from Robinson lands. Robinson throws a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Aldridge colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Robinson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Aldridge is left battered and dazed whilst Robinson and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Robinson! Nate Robinson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
