Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Casunuran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Awesome Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Casunuran to the ground. Mac is now in Casunuran's guard.

Casunuran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mac tries to avoid it but Casunuran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mac to the ground. Mac escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mac can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Casunuran is looking to escape.
Mac fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Mac might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Casunuran haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A close second round but Awesome Mac will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Casunuran's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Casunuran rushes Mac and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mac gets control of Casunuran's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mac will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Johnny Casunuran wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Casunuran darts in and clinches Mac up against the cage.
Casunuran tries to throw a body punch but Mac avoids it by throwing Casunuran back against the cage.
Mac jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Casunuran walks away with a smile on his face. Mac gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mac shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Casunuran sprawls well. Casunuran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mac gets slowly back to his feet.
Casunuran misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mac is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nice straight punches there by Casunuran. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Casunuran.

Casunuran slaps away a takedown attempt from Mac, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Casunuran tries to pull guard but Mac forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Mac's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Casunuran is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mac is defending well for now.

Casunuran digs a right hand into Mac's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mac's gas tank.

After the fight, Awesome Mac was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
