The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faustino throws a head kick but Scribe moves out of range.
Faustino tries to close the distance and clinch but Scribe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Faustino slips a jab from Scribe.
Faustino scores with a leg kick.
Faustino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scribe.
Faustino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Faustino takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scribe wants to clinch
and Faustino counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Faustino moves out of range of the body kick from Scribe.
Faustino throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Scribe shoots in and drives through. Faustino sprawls well.
Faustino lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Scribe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Scribe misses with a takedown attempt - Faustino sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Scribe looking to score a takedown here. Faustino is defending well but Scribe drives through and ends up in Faustino's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Scribe trying to control but Faustino is working from the bottom.

Scribe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Faustino is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Scribe defends well.

Scribe decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Scribe is looking to clinch but Faustino is avoiding it.
Scribe takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Scribe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Faustino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Scribe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Scribe.
Scribe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Faustino is fending him off so far but Scribe persists. Nope, Faustino circles away and we're back to standing.

Faustino throws a low kick, looking for Scribe's leg but Scribe calmly moves out of range.
Scribe tries to clinch there but Faustino circles away.
Scribe tries to close the distance and clinch but Faustino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Faustino clinches up against the cage.
Scribe is trying to maintain a safe position but Faustino gets an underhook and turns Scribe into the cage.
Faustino is looking to break free of the clinch but Scribe has double underhooks.
Faustino lands a knee to the head.
Scribe has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Faustino is trying to keep an underhook but Scribe manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Faustino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scribe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Faustino is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Scribe pulls his head out easily.

Scribe in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Faustino tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Scribe!
