Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clark Preston!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velemir fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Velemir avoids the body shot from Preston.
Velemir throws a lazy uppercut
and Preston counters with a stiff right hand.
Preston connects with a looping right hand.
Velemir ducks under a wild hook from Preston.
Velemir slips under a jab from Preston.
Velemir steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Preston.
Nice defenses there by Velemir.
Velemir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Preston lands a jab to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Preston misses with a looping left.
A slow jab from Preston misses its intended target.
Preston cracks Velemir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nice body punch from Preston.
Velemir takes a body punch but keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Velemir. Preston does a little dance to reset his feet.
Preston scores with the left hand. Velemir knows he should have avoided that one.
Velemir avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Velemir defending well as Preston loads up on a big left hand.
Preston slips under a jab from Velemir.
Preston throws a hook to the side of Velemir's head but Velemir sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big right from Velemir misses.

Velemir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Velemir works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Velemir sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Preston defending well though.
Preston looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Preston is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Velemir scores with a couple of nice shots.

Velemir lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Velemir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Preston with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Velemir tries to pass the half guard into mount. Preston knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Velemir thows a huge punch but Preston dodges it nicely.
Velemir is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Preston is trying to stand.
Velemir lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Preston can do anything to dispel that myth.
Preston looks like he's trying to stand up.
Velemir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Velemir tries to pass the half guard into mount. Preston knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Preston keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Preston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velemir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Velemir seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Velemir slips a nice elbow through Preston's hands, connecting with Preston's forehead.

Velemir thows a huge punch but Preston dodges it nicely.
Preston has hold of Velemir's hands but Velemir slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


Preston is rocked!
Velemir scores with a big shot! Preston's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Preston! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
