Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodolfo Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obobo Bataka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bataka has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Obobo Bataka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodolfo Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Obobo Bataka!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman drives through with a takedown into Bataka's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Foreman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Foreman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bataka is proving hard to escape from.
Bataka looks winded!
Foreman trying to control the position from guard on top but Bataka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Foreman trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bataka's guard.
Foreman trying to control but Bataka is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rodolfo Foreman just wasn't active enough.
Foreman throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bataka.

Foreman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Foreman showed some decent athleticism there.
Foreman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Foreman is nestled in close to Bataka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Rodolfo Foreman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Foreman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bataka tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foreman tries to stand but Bataka is controlling his head.
Foreman moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Foreman throws an elbow but Bataka slips to the side and avoids it well.
Foreman has an Americana. Bataka didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Foreman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Foreman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rodolfo Foreman!
